Molly Shannon Joins Pushing Daisies

TV Guide has learned that former “Saturday Night Live” star Molly Shannon has signed for a multi-episode arc on ABC’s highly-anticipated “Pushing Daisies.”

Shannon will play Dilly Balsam, the owner of a salt-water taffy emporium that just so happens to set up shop across the street from the Pie Hole. She’s slated to first show up during November sweeps.

“Pushing Daisies” premieres on Wednesday, October 3 at 8/7c.

Liz is crazy about Cherry pie, Bryan Fuller and Lee Pace.
