Ausiello just announced that David Arquette will guest star in Pushing Daisies episode 2.04, “Frescorts”. Bryan Fuller, the newly Emmy-nominated creator of the show, describes the arrival of Arquette’s character: “While investigating a murder, Ned encounters the socially awkward Randy Mann, who has a secret, special talent that unexpectedly bonds him to the Pie-Maker.”

ABC announced today that the Pushing Daisies season 2 premiere date is October 1 at 8/7c. Mark your calendars!
The L.A. Times has just leaked the names of the 10 finalists for this year’s Best Comedy Actor Emmy nominations, and, surprising no one who’s seen Pushing Daisies, Lee Pace is one of them. w00t!

In an AOL poll released today, viewers ranked Pushing Daisies as the best new show of the season. The show earned 24% of the 1.4 million votes cast, besting second place finisher Gossip Girl. The rest of the Top 5 were The Big Bang Theory, Chuck, and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
