Pushing Daisies premiered in the UK last week with a healthy 5.7 million viewers tuning in. Sounds like our friends across the pond were eager to see Anna Friel in her latest project.

The overnight ratings are in and Pushing Daisies won its timeslot both in total viewers and the coveted 18-49 demographic. Approximately 8.88 million viewers tuned in to see a doggone good episode, an increase of about 300,000 from two weeks ago.

Last night’s episode of Pushing Daisies, the delightful Halloween-themed “Girth”, won its timeslot with approximately 8.58 million viewers tuning in for a treat. Although this is a decline in viewers from last week, we expect the DVR numbers will be higher than usual since people were out trick-or-treating.

Overnight ratings for last night are in, and Pushing Daisies continues to perform well for ABC. Coming in second during its timeslot, behind Game 1 of the World Series, Pushing Daisies had an estimated 9.45 million viewers and helped ABC come in second overall for the night (Fox/the World Series were number 1).

The fast overnight ratings (Live + Same Day) for Wednesday night are in and Pushing Daisies continues to bring in the viewers. This week about 9.75 million people watched Ned play Jedi, coming in second in the timeslot behind Deal or No Deal, and number 1 in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

The ratings are about to be released officially, but Ausiello got an advance tip that Pushing Daisies “easily” won its timeslot last night with a 9.2/14 rating/share. That’s huge! If we’re doing the math correctly, that means nearly 13 million people watched the pie maker and a girl named Chuck last night.
