CHUCK FINDS HERSELF ATTRACTED TO THE SURVIVOR OF A PLANE CRASH AS NED TRIES TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THE MYSTERY, ON “PUSHING DAISIES”
“Pigeon” – A plane crash into an apartment building leaves the trio with a case – did the pilot commit suicide? – while Chuck finds herself drawn to the man who appears to be the sole survivor (guest star Dash Mihok), much to Ned’s distress. Meanwhile, Olive takes a wounded messenger pigeon to the Aunts for help, on “Pushing Daisies,” WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Pushing Daisies” stars Lee as Ned, Anna Friel as Chuck, Chi McBride as Emerson Cod, Ellen Greene as Vivian, with Swoosie Kurtz as Lily and Kristin Chenoweth as Olive Snook. Jim Dale is the narrator.

Emerson, Ned and Chuck are on a case of stolen jewelry goods, and solving a murder/suicide case, as well as find out about a missing prisoner.

A jockey dies and Olive convinces Ned and Emerson to bring him back to life and find out who killed him. The temporarily un-dead man tells them a man named John Joseph Jacob killed him but claims that John Joseph Jacob died seven years ago, so it had to have been his ghost. Olive’s confession about her past occupation surprises them all, and she claims the ghost has come back to get revenge on a group of jockeys that killed him years before. Chuck is decorating the Pie Hole for Halloween and she and Olive argue over whether or not Ned hates the holiday.

Ned and Emerson visit the morgue and find a lady talking to the coroner and an insurance agent about her dead husband and whether his death was accidental or suicide. When Ned wakes the man, he claims he was hijacked. After investigating, Ned and Emerson figure out that the hijacker is the man that Chuck has seemed to fall for.
