A man is killed and when Ned touches him, he tells them that his wife did it. Emerson becomes angry later when he discovers the man was a polygamist with 4 wives who all live next door to each other and all were somehow involved with dogs. Hilary, the first wife owns a designer dogwear and accessories shop. Heather, the second wife, is a renowned pet psychologist and host of the weekly radio show, “Doggonit.” Simone, the third wife, owns a K-10 obedience dog training studio. Finally, Holly, the fourth, final and youngest wife, breeds yellow Labradors and donates them as Seeing Eye dogs to the blind. Emerson, Ned and Chuck get Olive to help and each of them questions a wife to learn which one killed the unlucky man. During the investigations, one of the wives attacks Emerson, putting him in the basement with a shock collar around his neck.
